My Favourite Books

So if you have read my "About" page, you know that I'm quite into books so today I decided to make a list of my favourite ones!

  •  Harry Potter
Where even to begin!
It is my favourite book collection and the first one I ever read (maybe that's why I like it so much)!
My favourite book has to be "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince", I read super fast and I loved beacause of all the things that are revealed (like Voldemot's back story).

“We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.”

  • The Hunger Games
Well after Harry Potter I read The Hunger Games.
These two are definitly my favourites maybe because I read them first, I don't know!
I love Katnis and think that she is definitly someone you should look up to, I know we (probably) never be put in that situation, but if you would, would you have the strenght that she had?
(I would die imediatly by tripping on the plataform things, probably)

"The odds are never in our favor."

  • Divergent
Well here is another book series witha strong female lead :)
This was the first book I bought with my own money and I don't regret it at all! (that would be bad)
Well after I read it I was surprised to see that mostra people seemed to dislike this series (almost in a Twilight like way!). I was just wondering what you think of it, I know i like it very much and completely devoured the books, but what about you? (please tell me in the comments!)

"What makes you different, makes you dangerous."

  • The Fault In Our Stars
This book is beautiful... It just is.
I liked because I (sort of) identified myself with Hazel Grace, I mean, a teenage girl who obesses over books and TV shows, whose greatest wish his to meet the author because she wants to find out what happens after her favourite book ends...
Much like An Imperial Afflication,, it's a book about cancer, but it's not a cancer book and is very well written, I feel like I'm reading that girl's diary.
I liked it a lot.

"My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations."

  • The Perks of Being a Walflower
I can begin to tell you how much I loved this book!
It's both happy and sad. It really touched me the way Charlie handled is life, handeling abuse, death and extreme anxiety.
It's happy because even through all of this, he was always loved and he always loved too. He helped his friends and family, he cared about people, even when people didn't care about him (getting a bit sad again, but that just the way the book is).
I think it really changes you.

"We accept the love we think we deserve"

  • The Maze Runner
The last one on this list his also the last one I've read.
I bought it somewhat recently when I went to Scotland (my Christmas gift) and saw the book set. I didn't read it right away because I had books for school and was already reading Lord of the Rings, but I have since read and liked it a lot.
It has tons of plot twists and right when you think they're going to get to safety something happens, so it is very exciting to read!

"Just follow me and run like your life depends on it. Because it does."

Make sure to tell me in the comments what your favourite books are and  if you like some of mine so we can be book geeks together!

-Maria

PS: This list only includes collections that I've finished reading (Percy Jackson and Lord of the Rings), and doens't talk about prequels/sequels or any books that have to do with with the series (Tales of Beedle the Bard, Four and The Kill Order).
